Big Trail Challenge it’s not just another simple off road ride, but instead an adventure, an overcoming experience, friendship and discovery through Morocco, while crossing mountain and desert tracks and roads.

In 2023 the sixth edition took place and the event crew brought more than fifty participants to the heart of Morocco. During nine days and nine nights, with an «all inclusive» pack where you have available full logistical support, with technical and medical assistance at your disposal, provided by a very experienced team, which allows you to fully enjoy the experience of discovering in an intense way, some of the most remote and beautiful places of Morocco and immerse in the vibrant Moroccan culture.

The participation in the challenge that is exclusively open to trail / big trail motorcycles over 600cc and off-road characteristics but Rally Raid and Enduro with more than 600 cc or Big Trails with less than 600cc can in some cases participate when prior approved by the event’s organisation.

With a route between Portugal and Morocco, the Big Trail Challenge allows you to participate in two distinct levels, the “level 1”, of low difficulty, for all those who want to initiate on African crossings and the intermediate “level 2” for the more experienced who want to enjoy the ride in off road tracks a bit more demanding.

Navigation during the challenge is done by using GPS (tracks and waypoints) with the support of a sort of «road-book» in which you will find relevant way points like fuel station, dangerous spots,POIs, etc.

BTC chose Morocco for this challenge because it is in this incredible Maghreb country that we can experience unique, enriching and authentic experiences in a mix of cultural and natural discovery, with exceptional conditions for driving off-road motorcycles.
